So I completely disappeared for awhile, and it was great. I spent a month wandering around Europe and now I'm home and actually happy to be here, which is amazing. I missed the internet terribly. Going without TV was surprisingly easy and being without a phone was kind of awesome.

I feel really awful. You know when something bad is going on in your life and you just want to forget about it and be happy but you can't because it's eating away at you and you can feel it in the pit of your stomach? That's exactly how I feel right now. Sick and yucky and immature and completely stupid. I feel like I went to bed an adult and woke up in junior high. And I'm this close to hating myself.
In other news I went to see Garden State tonight. It was ridiculously amazing. It didn't help my mood at all, but it was so, so good. I don't know how to put it into words. I'm feeling slightly inarticulate.

I've become one of those people who sit around after Canadian Idol and press redial over and over and over again while they vote. I really never thought I would. I didn't watch the first Canadian Idol, but I've really been into all three American Idols and I think maybe I'm getting carried away with the freedom of actually being able to vote.
Canadian Idol is like a big event in my house. We're all waiting for it all week. It was honestly the only thing that kept me going at work today. And my mom is so adorable about the whole thing, she gets SO excited! She loves Jacob.
I think it's time to write the CI slash now.

I'm addicted to Canadian Idol. Addicted. It's disgusting, but I can't help it. I was a little bit disappointed when Josh left, mostly because I can't stand Shane and I'd like him to go away NOW.
I'm seriously considering writing some CI2 slash.

Movie Central is playing three back to back episodes of the third season of Six Feet Under every Monday night until season four starts and I'm loving it. Every time I watch this show it just completely blows my mind. It's so good. And since I never got into it until showcase started playing season one (stupid Canada) I'm so behind. I appreciate the catch-up.
Also, went to see Super Size Me earlier and I now feel very, very fat and unhealthy. It was really great though. I think I have a bit of a crush on Morgan Spurlock and his vegan chef girlfriend. So cute.

I've spent the day bumming around and half-heartedly working on a Dom/Viggo I started awhile ago. I will finish it before I sleep!
In other news, spring seems to be popping up, which is perfect considering the fact that there was supposed to be a blizzard this weekend. I've had my window open all day. I'm probably being a tad bit optimistic though because I'm freezing my ass off.
Will not close window! It's spring god dammit!

I have a really great Dom/Hannah/Elijah bunny that I can't stop thinking about. It may end up being more than I can handle.
You know, I never thought I'd write Elijah. Generally I have no interest in him. Truthfully he sort of freaks me out and I really don't find him attractive in any way. But as a character in this story that's taking shape in my head I'm very intrigued by him.

You know, Pink's video for God Is A DJ is exactly the same as the video for Get The Party Started. Except it's done way better.
Both of the videos feature Pink getting out of bed, getting ready to go out, making her way to the club and then dancing the night away. Except God Is A DJ is actually kind of cool.
